wedding venues in kent

Knowlton Court

Knowlton Court really is a visual feast, & can sleep over 70 guests on the estate, it has a beautiful wedding gazebo and a permanent marquee in the grounds each summer, but you can also hold the entire wedding in the house itself. It really is perfect for a wedding that you want to last over the weekend, with a Sunday BBQ/brunch at the Dower House

Swarling Manor

Swarling Manor is beautiful, great grounds and Pippa is just very lovely & loves weddings as much as us!

wedding Halls

Village halls which are stunning are Lower Hardres near Canterbury

Godmersham, Wooton & Chilham

They all have good outside spaces and will range in price from £ 300 to £ 500 with potential charges for cleaning, & extra hours to set up the day before which are well worth taking! Lower Hardres is I would say the best of these as it’s so pretty and has great grounds.

wedding Barns

Next up Barns, but these get booked up quickly as they only do a few weddings a year.

Tithe Barn Lenham, Littlebourne Barn

We have a brand new wedding barn on our farm site, Jacks Barn, these will range from £750 to £5000 but are mainly blank canvasses on top you will need to think about decoration, tables & chairs etc (we would arrange all the hire for you) but you could probably add a £1000- £1500. (Tables & chairs are included in Jack’s Barn)

Quirky venues

St Mary’s Art Centre Sandwich, stunning venue, £ 230 this year, huge old decommissioned church, great lighting, and huge space, no outside space though: www.stmarysartscentre.org.uk

The Red Barn at Capel £ 2.5- £3k, really unusual , great space, very individual , includes furniture & has a separate barn for wedding breakfast & evening receptor linked by a covered walkway & a cute licensed hut for the ceremony: www.redbarnevents.co.uk

The Nightyard, Charlotte Wigham, a giant blank canvas but with so many features it doesn’t need much, it’s perfect for a summers wedding, picture Cow’s cloisters.. around a huge green all enclosed so it’s really private, they used to own the Red Loin at Stodmarsh so run a good bar and are just delightful: www.thenightyard.com
